It had to happen sometime, after 28 games unbeaten we have lost at Charlton. We were winning 1-0 at half time but the home team were awarded a penalty that never was early in the second half and went on to win the game. We are still top of the league.
I don’t think anyone was expecting this result. This was only our second away defeat this season, I have only been to 3 away games but I have seen both defeats!! Good day out however and can recommend The Bulls Head in Burslem where the Titanic ale went down well.
What can I say – another good day out spoilt by the football. Terrible first half display!
A great victory 2-0 against Cambridge, the double rainbow above the ground must have been an omen. Then on to Kentish Town to see The Fall. First time I have seen them so it was quite interesting to watch the behaviour of the front man Mark E Smith as he shuffled around stage fiddling with amps and constantly looking for one of his many microphones. The music was good, the vocals not so good!
Great result and weekend in Blackpool.
Luton had a lot of possession but did not create any chances, Notts County could have won the game when they were awarded a penalty but Christian Walton made a great save. Luton took 2033 supporters to this game and the total attendance was 6313. COYH.
A game of two halves, Luton were 3-0 up at half time, Cambridge dominated most of the second half and scored twice. Luton held out for a victory in front of a sell out crowd of 10,056. COYH.
A good day out in Cheltenham. A couple of nice pubs and a fairly uneventful match. Cheltenham scored first, Luton equalised within a couple of minutes and nothing much else happened. Not sure about the Thai Restaurant we saw!
