Another visit to the superb Frampton Marsh RSPB reserve. I had gone to see the Pectoral Sandpiper that had been found there yesterday. I managed to see this early morning and whilst I was there a Broad-billed Sandpiper was found. Although only the third Broad-billed Sandpiper I have ever seen it was the second I have seen at this reserve this year!

A nice male Red-backed Shrike at Allhallows in Kent followed by a visit to Elmley National Nature Reserve.

Saw the Great Knot at my second attempt early morning on the beach at Holme.

Colourful Field

Stopped off for these birds on the way back from Shetland on 5/6/2016. The King Eider was on the Ythan Estuary just north of Aberdeen and the Gull-billed Tern was at Kenneil Lagoon somewhere near Edinburgh.
